CS Health: A Thriving Supplement with a new Online Store
In the past 15 years, CS Health has had a number of accomplishments to be happy for. Since starting their business, they have created one of the most successful broccoli supplements on the market, selling thousands of bottles of their product each year. What makes their business interesting is their ability to not only sell supplements but also create the ingredients other broccoli supplements use. They have created a company that has dominated the broccoli supplement industry.
The Challenge
CS Health has been successful in gaining customers through traditional marketing efforts using their sales reps, but needed a way to brand themselves online. The new site needed a way to give an overall view of the brand as well as give customers the ability to purchase the product online.
Lastly, the new CS Health website would have to be built within a timeframe of 3 months.
Solution
Having 3 months to design, build, and write the copy, we knew we had to move quickly to meet our deadline. From visual identity to development, I brought the pieces together to create an engaging face for an exciting new brand.
Process
Starting this project, there was not a lot of material to reference from. So getting as much information I could about the project was important. We decided the best coarse of action was to build out a questionnaire. This had material from what kind of business they wanted to be, who their target audience was, all the way down to what kind of design they were looking for. It helped me nail down every part of what they wanted to be.
After finishing the website questionnaire, we discovered there were four important parts CS Health wanted to accomplish:
- Have high quality information about what they specialized in
- Having high quality photography of their products
- Have a great user experience of the website
- Selling more of their products
From this information, I was able to then start creating wireframes and user flows of the website.
After we had finished building out the wireframes, we then presented these to the leadership of the CS Health brand. This is the feedback we had received.
In the next stage of the process we decided we also needed high quality photos of the product, so customers understood what they were purchasing. These photos consisted of bottle shots, as well as shots of the supplement.
Content was also key in the success of the website, so we had worked out a content strategy for information on the products. This would help in gaining more trust in our products and made it easier for the customer to understand.
After having all of the critical elements put together, we were then able to build out the website with imagery, text, color, and components for all pages. This was the final concept we came up with.
The Results
With a new brand showing their full portfolio of products, CS Health is well positioned to gain new customers, grow the business, and increase the visiblity of their brand.
We continue to work with CS Health in optimizing their website, and always look for more effective ways to generate more revenue.
